Shower Control, Reimagined
Kohler DTV replaces multiple handles with a single digital interface that controls every outlet, temperature, and mode from one screen.

Two Parts, One Interface
A Kohler DTV system is built from two required parts. A digital interface (K-527 or K-558) is the control you touch, and a digital thermostatic valve (K-528-K, rated up to 13 GPM) sits behind the wall and does the actual mixing and delivery. Both are required — the interface tells the valve what to do, and the valve feeds every outlet.
DTV Prompt is Kohler's entry-tier digital system. DTV+, paired with Kohler Konnect, is the top tier and adds full-room control for steam, lighting, and audio.

Every Control on One Screen
Multi-Outlet Control
Run two or three outlets — rainhead, handshower, body sprays — separately or together, switched with a single button.
Digital Thermostatic Valve
Sets and holds a precise, consistent temperature every time, ending the hot-and-cold hunting of manual handles.
Warm-Up Mode
Pauses flow while water reaches your set temperature, then alerts you when it is ready — so heated water is not wasted down the drain.
Countdown Mode
Set a shower time limit — useful for managing water use across a busy, multi-bathroom household.
Eco-Mode Diverter Option
An available diverter configuration for households prioritizing water conservation.
DTV+ / Konnect Tier
The top tier adds steam, lighting, and audio control through Kohler Konnect and the Kohler Mode app — built for full-room steam shower and sauna integration.
A Digital Shower, Built to Spec
A custom black-slate steam shower we tiled and waterproofed in Tampa Bay — overhead body-jet panels, a rain head, and recessed lighting, all fed by a digital valve behind the wall.

Kohler WaterTile Rain Overhead Shower Panel featuring four 22-nozzle sprayheads.

Kohler Statement showerhead is a 3-function, wall-mounted model.

The Kohler DTV+ digital valve and manifold — the brain that mixes and routes water to every outlet on command.

Rain head, wall sprays, body jets, and a handshower — every outlet a DTV system can run at once.

One backlit touchscreen controls temperature, outlets, and presets — the only control you see in the finished shower.

A backlit dial and one-touch icons for presets, lighting, steam, and audio — spa control at a glance.
The Install Is Where It's Won or Lost
A digital valve system is only as good as its rough-in. The K-528-K valve has to be set to exact placement and depth, and the surrounding shower has to be waterproofed correctly, or the finished system leaks, underperforms, or fails early behind finished tile.
We waterproof with Schluter systems (KERDI and DITRA) and the certified owner is on-site overseeing every job — not a rotating subcontractor crew. The person who quotes your project oversees the install.
Rough-In & Waterproofing, Done to Spec
DTV runs behind tile you cannot open up later. Getting the valve placement and waterproofing right the first time is the whole job — and it is exactly what a Schluter-certified installer is trained to do.
