Grout & About Flooring and Bathroom LLC provides tile installation and bathroom remodeling services within a 25-mile radius of Apollo Beach, Florida. Our primary service areas include Apollo Beach, Riverview, Ruskin, Wimauma, Sun City Center, Brandon, Gibsonton, Valrico, Lithia, FishHawk, Bloomingdale, and South Tampa. Projects outside this 25-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis and may include additional travel fees.

Estimates and Quotes

All estimates provided by Grout & About Flooring and Bathroom LLC are free and without obligation. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. After 30 days, pricing may be subject to change due to material cost fluctuations, labor availability, or scheduling changes. A written estimate or contract must be signed before work begins.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

50% deposit is required to schedule your project and secure your spot on our calendar
Deposit is applied toward final project cost
Final 50% payment is due upon project completion and your satisfaction
For larger projects, a payment schedule may be arranged in writing
We accept cash, check, Zelle, and major credit cards

Specific payment schedules will be outlined in your project contract.

Project Scope Changes

Any changes to the agreed project scope require written approval before work proceeds. This includes additions, modifications, or deletions to the original scope of work. Change orders may affect project timeline and cost. We will provide updated pricing in writing for any scope changes and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work.

Pre-Existing Conditions

Grout & About Flooring and Bathroom LLC is not responsible for pre-existing conditions discovered during demolition or installation. Hidden conditions such as water damage, mold, rot, structural issues, improper framing, or inadequate subfloor may be uncovered during the course of work. If such conditions are discovered:

Work will be paused and you will be notified immediately
We will document the condition with photos
A written change order with additional cost will be provided
Work will not proceed until you approve the change order in writing
You may choose to hire a specialist for remediation if needed

Materials

Unless otherwise specified in writing, the homeowner is responsible for purchasing tile, fixtures, and finish materials. We are happy to assist with material selection and can pick up materials if needed. Grout & About provides all installation materials including thinset, grout, waterproofing membranes, backer board, and Schluter products as specified in your estimate.

Workmanship Warranty

Grout & About Flooring and Bathroom LLC stands behind our workmanship. We provide a warranty on all tile installations against defects in workmanship. Manufacturer warranties apply to all products used (Schluter, etc.). Warranty does not cover:

Damage from misuse, accidents, or negligence
Failure to follow provided care and maintenance instructions
Normal wear and tear
Issues caused by settling, movement, or structural changes to the home
Damage from other contractors or trades

Scheduling and Access

Once scheduled, we require access to the work area during agreed-upon hours. Delays caused by lack of access, incomplete prep work by others, or material unavailability may result in rescheduling. We will communicate any scheduling changes as soon as possible.
